Snickerdoodles

2 sticks butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix first 3 ingredients. Beat til creamed. Stir together
dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture, make balls.
Roll balls in a mixture of cinnamon & sugar, Put on
ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 400 -8 - 10 min.
take out of oven a couple of min. before done. Let
set in pan a few min.
