3 c. fresh strawberries
2 c. sugar
5 tbs. cornstarch
1/4 rsp. salt
2 c. cold water
6 tbs. karo syrup
1 small pkg strawberry jello
1/2 pint heavy cream, whipped
1 baked pie shell.
Fill pie shell with berries, slicing some so they fill the shell nicely.
In saucepan mix, 2 cuip. sugar, cornstarch, salt,
add: water & syrup
Bring to a boil and cook til clear, Add jello, stir til dissolved.
Boil 1 min. more. Cool slightly.
Pour over berries in pie shell, using only enough syrup to fill pie.
Refrigerate overnight.
