Moms Fresh Cherry Pie

Pastry for two crust pie
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3 drops almond extract
4 c. pitted cherries
2 tbs. butter
Combine flour, sugar, salt. Add almond extract
to cherries and toss.
Add sugar, flour mix. Pour into pie shell. Dot with butter.
Put on top crust. put an egg wash on top crust.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 425 -40 min.
