5 c. sliced fresh peaches ( about 7 peaches)
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. orange zest
1/8 tsp. almond flavoring
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbs. butter
Mix peaches, lemon juice, orange zest & almond flavoring.
Mix dry ingredients, add to peaches.
Pour into pie shell. dot with butter. Add top crust.
egg wash on top crust. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 400 -40 min. til brown
