Twinkie Cake

1 yellow cake mix
Mix as directed- Bake in 9x13 pan. Cut cake in half
lengthwise using a long knife.
Prepare filling.:
4 tbs. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
In saucepan, cook flour & milk til thick, stirring constantly,
cool, Combine sugar, butter, crisco, vanilla, in mixing bowl.
Beat about 5 min. add cooled mixture, Beat 10 min. or til
fluffy.
Carefully lift top off cake. Spread filling. Replace top layer.
Best to make 24 hours ahead.
