Whipped Evaporated Milk Topping

prep time 5 min - freezing time 30 min.
1 c. evaporated milk
1/4 to 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Pour milk into a small freezer bowl. Freeze for at least 30 min. (beaters too. )
Til ice crystals form around bowl.Beat on high speed about 1 min. or til very frothy. Gradually add sugar
and vanilla. Continue beating for 2 min. or til stiff. Serve immediately.
for whipped topping that holds up to 30 min. Sprinkle gelatin over 2 tbs.
water in small bowl.. Let stand 2 min. micro-wave on high 40 seconds, stir,
let stand another 2 min. til dissolved
Pour 1 can milk and dissolved gelatin into mixing bowl. follow receipe
for whipped topping. Serve immediately. or cover and refrigerate up to
50 min.
