2 c. water in heavy saucepan 1 tsp. salt 1 c. rice Bring water to a boil. Add salt & rice. Cover & boil (simmer) 15 min. Turn off heat and allow to remain covered 10 to 15 min. Do not lift lid.
I'm a great grandmother that loves to cook, collecting and trying new receipes. Im supervisor and head cook at our church for the soldier ministry. I have 3 children, 8 grand children, and 2 great grand children. Love antiques, yard sales, gardening and reading. I have a very spoiled baby (Laso-apso..(a very long haired dog, that thinks shes people)
