1 lb. ground beef
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 can - 2.8 oz - french fried onions, crumbled and divided
2 c. frozen mixed veggies
1 can undiluted cream of celery soup
1 c. sour cream, divided
1 tube buttermilk biscuits
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt
Cook beef til no longer pink, drain. Place half in a greased 2 qt. baking dish. (9x13) . Layer with mushrooms, 2/3 of onions, & all the veggies. Top with remaining beef.
In saucepan combine soup and 1/2 sour cream. Cook over low heat til heated thru. Pour over beef.
Cut each biscuit in half, arrange cut side down around edge of dish.Sprinkle with remaining onions.
Combine egg, celery seed , salt & remaining sour cream. Drizzle over biscuits.
Bake uncovered, 375 for 25 to 30 min. or til golden.
