! - 1/2 lb. sirloin or good beef roast or chuck steak
cut in small strips.
2 cans beef consomme or chicken broth
1 onion, chopped fine
several garlic cloves, minced
1 can mushrooms, drained or use fresh
extra wide noodles and sour cream.
Salt. pepper and flour beef strips, fry in hot oil.
turn over and add onions and garlic, cook a few minutes.
Add mushrooms, and beef or chicken broth.
Simmer til meat is tender and sauce has thickened.
You may need to add a little water if meat is slow to
be tender.
When meat is tender and sauce has thickened, take off
burner and add sour cream, amount, your choice.
Add cooked noodles.mix all and serve.
This is easy and delicious! A family favorite, much requested!
