Mushoom Oatmeal Patties

1 onion, chopped
1/2 lb. fresh or 4 oz. canned mushrooms, sliced
2 1/4 c. oatmeal
3 egg whites or 2 whole eggs.
1 tsp. savorex dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water
1/2 c. can milk
1 tsp. herb slt
1/2 tsp. each, thyme, paprika,sage
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
gravy
Saute onions, mushrooms lightly in small amount of oil.
Combine with oatmeal, eggs, savorex water, milk and seasonings.
Mix well and let stand 30 min.
Shape into patties.
Fry in small amount of oil.
Cover patties with gravy.
Bake 350 - 30 min.
Gravy:
1 can mushroom soup and 1/2 can hot water or 1 can
mushroom soup. 1 can celery soup,and 1 can hot water
