1 tbs. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbs. water or beet juice
2 tbs. vinegar
1/4 c. honey
1 tbs. fat
2 c. diced or sliced beets
Mix cornstarch and salt.Blend in the water
or juice from beets. Add vinegar, honey & fat.
Cook slowly, stirring constantly til thickened.
Add sauce to beets, let stand at least 10 min.
to blend flavors.
