2 1/2 c. flour, divided
2 tbs. black pepper
1 - 2 tbs. white pepper
2 tbs. garlic powder
1 tbs. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 c. buttermilk
2 can evaporated milk
8 cube steaks, 4 oz each
oil for frying
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
dash hot pepper sauce
In a shallow bowl, combine 2 c. flour & seasonings. set aside.
In another bowl, combine buttermilk, & evap. milk.remove 3 1/2 c. for gravy. and set aside
Dip steaks into buttermilk mix then flour, repeat
In skillet heat 1/2 in. oil on high. fry steaks a few at a time. 5-7 min. turn carefully, cook 5 min. longer til coating is crisp and meat is no longer pink. Remove. Make gravy,
