Continental Chicken


3 -4 lb fryer, cut up, rolled in seasoned flour
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt and pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
21/2 tsp. grated onion
1 tbs. chopped parsley, or 1 tsp. dried
1/8 tsp. thyme
1 1/3 c. water
1 1/3 c. instant rice
Brown chicken in butter. Remove chicken, stir in soup and seasoning, water into drippings. Put in rice, lay chicken on top.
Cook in an electric skillet, low heat (200). Cover and cook 30 min. or til done.
