Pepper Steak

1 lb. boneless sirloin steak, cut in thin strips
1 tbs. oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cans beef broth
1 small red bell pepper, cut in strips
1 small green bell pepper , cut in strips
4 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
4 c. hot cooked rice
In skillet over med. heat , brown steaks in hot oil, drain.
Add garlic, saute 3 minutes. Add broth, bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered 12 to 16 minutes. or til broth is reduced by half.
Add peppers. Combine cornstarch and water til smooth, stir into broth. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or til thickend.
Serve over rice. I like to serve this with a green salad.
