Sugared Asparagus

3 tbs. butter
2 tbs. brown sugar
2 lb. fresh asparagus, cut in 2 in. pieces, about 4 c.
1 c. chicken broth
In skillet, over med. high heat, cook butter &
sugar til sugar is dissolved.
Add asparagus , saute 2 min. Stir in chicken
broth ,Cover and simmer 8 to 10 min.til asparagus
is crisp tender.
Keep warm in serving dish.
Cook sauce uncovered til reduced by half..
Pour over asparagus.
