2 c. crushed tortilla chips
2 tbs. water
1 large egg, slightly beaten
1 lb ground beef, onion and garlic , cooked and drained
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can diced green chilies
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 c. shredded monterey jack cheese,
1 1/2 c. salsa
1/2 c. diced green pepper
oven 350 - grease a 9 inch square pan
Combine water, chips, egg in a small dish. Press into prepared square baking dish. bake 10 min.
Combine beef, soup mix, chilies, 1/4 c, cheddar cheese and 1/4 c. jack cheese in med. bowl. Spread over tortilla crust.
Top with salsa, bell pepper, remaining cheeses.
Bake 25 to 30 min. or til cheese is melted.
