Moms Swiss Steak

1 1/2 pound cubed cube steak, cut in serving pieces
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, roll steaks in flour, brown in hot oil
Add 2 or 3 cloves fresh garlic , minced, Add 3 chopped bell peppers ,3 chopped onions.
1 quart -32 oz - crushed tomatoes , 1 teaspoon dried thyme ( do not leave this out!,
and 1 bay leaf.
Simmer til vegetables are cooked down and meat is tender. Remove the bay leaf.
I like to serve this with mashed potatoes.
