Mushroom, Almond Rice

1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. chopped onions
4 tbs. butter
2 c. beef bouillon
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 small can sliced mushrooms.
Cook onions in 2 tbs. butter til tender.
Add rice and continue cooking til golden.
Add bouillon and pepper.
Stir well, heat to boiling, cover pan, reduce
heat and simmer 15 min. or til liquid is absorbed.
Saute almonds and mushrooms in remainng
butter, When rice is tender, add almonds and
mushrooms & toss lightly.
Serves 6
